I didn't get to post my progress yesterday because I have family in town, so I had a busy day. I was not tempted to eat chocolate at all yesterday! It was a fabulous feeling. Today, I instinctively reached for a mini 3 Musketeers while I waited for my bread to toast.
I stopped myself, wondering why I automatically did that. I do not need to snack while waiting for food to cook. If I hadn't made the conscious decision to have a chocolate free month, I would have eaten it without even thinking about it. Who knows? I might have eaten another one, then another one, and on and on.
Another thing I really need to work on is drinking enough water on the weekends. I used to be so good about it, but lately not so much. I still drink plenty of water during the week, so that is a good thing. Drinking water is so important, and staying hydrated makes my body feel more energetic. Water on weekends, water on weekends--that is my new mantra.
What have you done this weekend to be healthy?
