October was supposed to be pedometer month. I was going to wear my pedometer every week day in October...but, I dropped it and it broke. Bummer, right?
I've been off track lately. I made the choice to change my life a year ago. One entire year. I am so much healthier today than I was then. However, I haven't been as healthy as I want to be lately. I want to start making small changes to get back on the healthy track. We have had a ton of candy around for Halloween, and I've been eating too many of those little chocolate bars. They add up!
Starting today, I'm trying not to eat chocolate for the month. I might not make it, but that is okay. I'm starting with a bang: no chocolate! Not today. I made it through my first chocolate-free day. The point of this isn't so much to stay away from chocolate, but to remind myself that I need to make conscious decisions about food. I cannot eat mindlessly. No more mindless eating.
Anyone in on the challenge with me?
